Textures of city

The textures, details and colors of Vilnius in the photographs of Saulius Paukštys. The small architectural details of the city - doors, shutters, various engineering devices, locks, handles, fittings, even nails - are the annals of the city. Even the faded boards of the hundred-year-old gate in the new town mark the traces of the city's fashions - layers of paint, colors, a mixture of the people of the city, carvings of ancient doors covered with tin patches, when a local craftsman changes the lock - these are the traces of the stories of our city's life.
